Welcome to the Alumni Website for the Epsilon Zeta Chapter of Sigma Nu!

The brothers of the Epsilon Zeta Chapter want to thank the alumni and familys who came out to this years event during the Orange and Blue Weekend. The event was an overwhelming success featuring two evenings of activities. Although a majority of the brothers will be returning home for the summer months, the fraternity house will remain open for alumni to stop by anytime. If you're in Gainesville over the summer months, you're invited to stop by and meet any of the brothers at the house. And we would especially like as many brothers to attend our Fall Recruitment activities coming up in late August.

But the most interesting aspect that the current newly-initiated brothers found were the many traditions of yesteryear. We want to learn about and possibly revive as many of the rush week / game-day / whatever-day traditions of your time at the University of Florida and Sigma Nu. Drop us an e-mail at alumni@ufsigmanu.com and tell us about your traditions. We've got current brothers scattered about the state of Florida (and in some cases the nation / world) this summer. If you're an alum in cities like Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Naples, Ft. Myers, and Jacksonville there's a likely chance there are brothers there that want to hear from you. Just drop alumni and parent relations chair Aaron Batson an e-mail and he'll get you in touch with brothers in your neck of the woods. And Gator Football fans...now's the time to make plans to come to as many tailgate parties as possible. This year we hope to have many alumni attend the tailgator parties on the lawn of the Sigma Nu Fraternity house. For further details on time and events that will take place, please feel free to email Aaron Batson for more information at aaronb88@ufl.edu

On this website you will find updated information regarding upcoming events for alumni. Each weekend of a home Gator Football game, we will host an alumni tailgate party in and around the house. EZ's who needed a parking space near Ben Hill Griffin Stadium were welcome to park at the fraternity house, as well as enjoy food and games with the current brothers and alumni. Each football season we have about a hundred alumni brothers that make it to the house. Considering that there are over 1200 living EZ alumni, we know that there are many more brothers who do not know that we have these tailgating parties. Please tell your friends about this site and future events.

The organization of the alumni relations committee consists of the chapter brothers and the White Star Foundation of Florida, Inc. The alumni relations chairman for Epsilon Zeta is Aaron Batson and he works with directly with Commander James Miller to build a strong relationship with the alumni. This includes maintaining an updated database of all EZ Brothers, as well as sending out information regarding upcoming events. The brothers work very closely with the White Star Foundation which is lead by President Joe Mason (EZ 1060, '61), Vice Presidents Don MacInnes (EZ 526, '48), and Stefan Gleason (EZ 1816, '92), and Secretary Treasurer Jack Shoemaker (EZ 557, '48).

Stay tuned for more updates on this website for upcoming Sigma Nu alumni events.
